    IMHO see if you can find some MILITARY match ammo the older the better I have some federal 1971 that will shoot better then any other ammo in just about any pistol I test BARRING THAT. What you really need to consider is most Ball ammo is on the small side .450 instead of .452 remember each lot number of each brand of ammo will shot different in each pistol. Barsto barrels are some of the best for Ball matches. You really need to test your gun with a Ransom rest at 50 yards anything will shoot at 25 yards. If you load your own SIERRA is one of the best bullets available and you will find if you try to cut down below 830 FPS your group size will get larger.     Wolf can be tough in tight chambered guns, It doesn't cycle in my Les Bauer or my wife's Kimber. It cycles fine in our Para's.

    CCI Blazer aluminum cased non-reloadable. Looks like crap, shoots great.
