PPK/S Magazine Markings

Can someone tell me if the .380acp 7-round mag is marked with the number seven or if it is only marked to number 6??? I purchased a couple mags...they are incorrect and they are stamped to #6. Trouble is, they aren't long enough to engage the mag tab by about 1/8" and I didn't have the gun with me at the time to check the fit.
