Savage Anschutz .22 model 12

The bolt won't come back on unless the trigger is pulled..this can't be right? It has an adj. trigger but anyone know how to adj.it? I think someone messed with the trigger and the sear is staying up to far in the reciever thus making the only way to pull the bolt back is to pull the trigger....HELP! Anyone have any info on these rifles?

What do you mean"the bolt won't come back on"? Do you mean putting the bolt back in the reciever?

After firing the bolt sometimes sticks after being drawn back a bit,then the trigger must be held back to eject empty.
