I did a search and didn't find much info on the polymer wolf ammo. Is it better or worse than the lacquer coated Wolf? It would be for an AK or SKS whenever I decide which one to get.

I have heard numerous stories about the lacquer coated ammo gumming up chambers etc. I believe its due to leaving a round in a hot chamber long enough to melt the lacquer. I was having lunch with shooting buddies just yesterday after our 3-gun match and heard it come up again.
The polymer ammo is much cleaner, but either will work fine in AK's and SKS's. Just clear the chamber when not shooting. I still have numerous cases of both 5.56 and 7.62X39 with lacquer coating to shoot up.
$175/1000rds of Golden Tiger lacquer or
$199/1000rds of Wolf Polymer
Both prices include shipping
Another question, what's the better deal as far as price and quality go?:
$175/1000rds of Golden Tiger lacquer or
$199/1000rds of Wolf Polymer
Both prices include shipping
Please don't take offence at this. The subject of Wolf ammo, polymer or lacquer coatings and green moon men is superflous to the issue.
Any SKS or AK will eat rocks dirt and boogers and come back for more. They are BLASTERS. As long as the round goes BANG and the firearm was in battery when it did so it will cycle and repeat the function until the magazine is empty.....So why worry about it? A new SKS is a hundred bucks. Every part in the AK can be had for the cost of a tank of gas.
Buy what ever ammo is the cheapest for feeding a BLASTER. If you want good ammo then load your own and get a good rifle to shoot it in.
My .02 on the Wolf ad nauseum.
I have about 1000-1500 rds of the 223 through 3 different AR's and a Galil no problems.
I ran 500 rds of the .45 acp, no problems, but I wasent impressed.
I have sevearl thousand rounds on hand that I will continue to shoot with out worry.
