Bridge, regrettably, your 20ga 870 Remington has the large 1 inch diameter barrel ring, as the 20ga gun was built around the 12ga receiver back in those days. Barrel ring diameter was changed to 7/8ths of an inch on all 20ga 870's around 1978, when they introduced the 20ga 870 LW magnum. All 20ga Express models also use this same 7/8ths inch diameter magazine ring, so none of the modern day barrels (whether Wingmaster polished blue finish or Express matte black finish)will fit your receiver. Best bet may be to have your current barrel threaded for choke tubes. Carlson's thin wall tubes would work for sure. Gander Mountain does this service for around $150, and that price includes 3 choke tubes of your choice.
