Are there any revolvers which will fire .45acp? And are there any special clips which will adapt .45acp to another caliber like the .45LC, etc. And if there are, do they work better than adapting a magazine to an SKS?[?]

Im interested in 200gr .45acp rounds and just the bullets for my 1911 and S&W revolver. My question is being that 230gr is the standard will the 200gr bullets shoot and group the same considering I will be shooting hot loads like Hornady and or Corbon ?[?]

    transam,
Several ACP options for the wheel gun including old Smith and Colt 1917's and newer Smith N-frames. Likely others as well. Need for extraction capability typically involves the use of half moon or full moon clips or using .45 auto rim brass. No idea on the SKS part of your question.

Yes, there is all of the above, except for the SKS(If you wanted AK-47 capabilities, then that is what should be purchased).

There are revolvers out there today that use full moon, or half moon clips for the 9MM Luger, and 45ACP. If I am not mistaken, Ruger even had a convertable single action revolver that would do 45LC, and 45ACP by switching cylinders.

You can still get a Colt Single Action Army with convertible 45LC/45ACP cylinders.

FYI, there is now a polyester full moon clip, a RIMZ 25, that should be easier to use than the spring steel clips that have been on the market for years. The .45 Auto Rim is again being loaded by Black Hills Ammunition. This round offers another option. As manufacturers continue to make revolvers in this caliber, more companies will load the round, hopefully reducing the price. And if you're not in a hurry to reload the gun, you should be able to push out the spent casings from the front of the cylinder, as in the 1917 Colt.
