What is the correct 32 ammo for a pocket positive?
On barrel, it says " 32 police "

Colt didn't want to put Smith & Wesson's name on their guns, i.e. .32 S & W cartridge. They brought out a line of ammo in both .32 & .38, that they named and marked on their revolvers, "New Police". It's probably a 99% certainty that your revolver is chambered for the .32 S & W cartridge, AKA .32 New Police.

The 32 police is Colt's politically correct name for their chambering of the 32 S&W...which they couldn't for pride's sake put on a Colt revolver.
