    They didn't really stretch it, they welded a piece onto the end. Just like they did with a bunch of Mausers that had to get that done to import them. Ask the seller if the bore has rifling for the new section.

    If you were thinking of buying this I would follow Perry Shooters advice. You can listen to better stories for free.

    SAFE imho without knowing the person that did the work [xx(][:(]NO. is it possible Yes has been done on many old collector 18th and 19th century guns but only by people trying to scam others. I would stay away from this item there are many good guns on this site for sale . Buy the gun not the story imho this one is a P.O.S.
