Would like you guys opinion on purchasing a hand gun in the 4-5 hundred dollor range 9mm or 40 cal. Looking for dependability and accuracy, along with ease off cleaning. Thanks

Ask ten different people on this you will most likely get 10 different answers after saying that in that price range I really like my cz-75

If I was going to go out and buy a 9mm or a 40 right now I'd go with the CZ.

Advantages are ease of use, ability to carry "cocked and Locked" if user wants to, lots of options available including Ambi safties and adjustable sights that don't look bulky.

As to caliber I'd go with the 9mm. Reason? Cheap practice ammo. Yes a lot of P.D.'s have shifted to the 40 but I don't think they'll ever dent the rep the 9 has.

As far as the Glock goes? Glock has 45% (?) of the police market and 75% (?) of the lawsuit market for AD's! Stick to the CZ.[8D]
