hello, ive been reading the boards and ive come up with a good question. I am interested in a semi auto pistol in 9mm or 357, the problem is im left handed and i would like a mag release on both sides. ive narrowed my search down to a sig 226, hk p2000, and a walther p99. what should i look at? they al feel good when i hold them and fire them and i like the tac rail.

I'm a leftie, too. Check out the Springfield XD-9. I love mine.

You would do well to take a good look at the XD. Tens of thousands of rounds and 100% reliability with hundreds of different shooters.

You are looking at the right ones. I shoot my Walther P-99 in matches sometimes. They are very good guns. I like my HK USP 9mm also.

S&W M&P has a changable mag release, not on both sides, but either side.

Thanks for the info i will be going with the springfield. i am waiting for my start date for the academy so i think i will go with the 357 or 45. maybe ill try to get one of each.
