Bushmaster Predator or Varmint Special??

I am afraid the varmint special will be to heavy to tote around in the woods and in the field. What is the accuracy difference in the varmint special and the predator models? And also, I am a freak about cleaning my guns after every hunt, how hard are these AR style rifles to clean?

I have the 24" Varminter and really like it. I have had mine for over 5 years now. I don't think you will see a big difference in weight over 4" in length. These guns are much heaver then standard weight ARs due to bbl diameter. I know mine has a "extra" heavy bbl that huge under the handguards.

These guns are no harder to clean then any other AR. Pop the rear pin, pull out the bolt and carrier. From there you can clean the bbl and the bolt/carrier.

AR15s are actually very easy to clean. Certainly no more difficult that a bolt action rifle. Especially if it is a two push pin AR15.
