    Hello,
I have a Halifax model and I suspect it is much the same. Move the slide to its most rear position. There is a little tang that hangs down on the rear underside of the slide, push that up. The slide should back off. Did you figure out how to remove the barrels? You have a neat interesting SxS good luck.

it doesnot seem to have the "tang" underneath. it was made in 1910.

My Halifax is early also but there could be differences. Will the locking handle on the slide "spring back" past the normal open position? If you can't figure it out contact Geoffy Gournet directly. You can find his contact number by Googling Darne and USA. Good luck, Robin
