What's the difference between .455 Webley and .455 Eley cartridges? Or are they the same round by different names?

.455 Webley is the shorter Mk II cartridge meant for smokeless.
Can .455 Webley ammunition (such as made by Fiocchi) be used in a revolver chambered for .455 Eley?
I would advise against using Fiocci .450 ammo in any revolver, because, at least until last year, it was overloaded. You also should not use any Hornady or Fiocci .455 ammo in revolvers like the Jones designed Enfield meant for the MK I caartridge.
AFAIK Fiocchi is the only company making .455 Webley ammo, and I don't have any reloading gear; so I'm kind of stuck as far as choices go.
I'll be using .455 Webley in a Webley Mk.VI. If I can re-convert it by locating an uncut cylinder, I'd like to use it in a S&W Hand Ejector Model 2.
Wouldn't it just be easier to carry a l911 clone in .45ACP?
I've got two 1911s (one from 1917 and the other a 1991-A1). As it happens, I now have a .455 S&W HE2 now in addition to my converted one.
