.22 revolvers old and need info

I am researching a couple of .22 revolvers for my uncle just to see if they have any value which I'm pretty sure they don't but I'm curious about them. 1st is an EIG Model E15 Germany which is stamped on the bottom of the butt. All black including the grips which i believe are plastic with a buffalo on both sides. Pull the pin and the cylinder pops out and load like a cowboy revolver from the right side.
2nd I can't find anything about it at all. H&R Inc., Gardner Mass. Model 939 22lr made in the U.S.A. Odd looking Revolver, 9 shot bull barrel swing out cylinder and really Squared off. Looks like a real old model .22 by design. Nothing fancy just a piece of steel the was formed into a .22 revolver. Any information on either would be appreciated.

Your H&R was made between 1958-1982 and in 100% it would probably be worth around $120 -if you post a serial number I can tell you what year it was made(all I need are the letters not the numbers for H&R. The are fun little shooters so enjoy it [:D] The other revolver I just don't know about-maybe someone else here does.

EIG was the name of the American firm who imported and distributed the first revolver your inquiring about. It was made in what was then Western Germany, probably by a company named Rohm. They were sold very inexpensively at that time, circa 1960's. It's value would still be only marginal today.

The H & R 939 is a much better quality handgun then the Rohm, and worth correspondingly more money nowadays. Value would depend on factory originally and cosmetic condition.

thanks rufe--I thought for a minute the EIG might be one of those FIE/Excam revolvers. Forgot totally about Rohm

AR32849 is the serial number. As far as the condition, I will just say it is in firing condition. Well not that bad, I would guess 80% bluing and it has what looks like a vented ribbed piece screwed at the top which the front site is attached to. By that I mean similar to a shotguns. This piece is where all the scratches are, other than that it's in i would say good condition.

Thanks to all for the information.

Your gun was made in 1977--they are fun little plinkers--enjoy it with friends and family. If you really have to sell it I'd stick it on the auction side and start the bidding at $100 and you can set a reserve.

The EIG is the fabled "Saturday nite special" of old. Sold for $14.95 in the 60's. Although I fired one many times back then, I stopped when I found two rounds were going downrange at the same time, one thru the barrel, one down the frame leaving a nice lead streak.

Will not sell it, just looking for value to give my Uncle a ballpark range. Thank you all.
