C&R Discounts

I didn't want to hijack the other thread so I started a new one. What kind of discounts do you get from Grafs and Midway if you have an 03 ffl? I didn't realize you could get discounts until I read the other post. Is it much? Worth sending them my license?

Thanks

Any discount is worth it as long as they have what you need.

Brownells does the discount also. Discount depends on the product you're buying, I've not found a consistent percentage.

I saved $40.00 off the DSA FN scope mount & $35.00 off an M1A scope mount. All in all I think Brownells gives a pretty strong discount.

They are enough for you to get your $30.00 back in short order, even if you never buy C & R firearm.

I was looking for info on C&R discounts and thought I'd share an easy way to decide if the $30 fee and 1/2 hour of paperwork required for the C&R FFL is worth it. This was shared with me by a local FFL. Request a catalog from Brownell's and check the numbers in italics at the end of the product description. You'll notice that at the end of the letter and number series there will always be a random letter followed by two digits. Replace the letter with a decimal point and you will have the FFL discount price. The amount of the discount varies by product but for most things it seems to run about 20% with some items being much higher.

I'm building an AR. The DPMS upper regular price - from DPMS direct & Brownells - is $553.00. With my discount the cost is $425.00. I'm certain I easily save well over $1,000.00 per year with the C & R.

Numrich (gunpartscorpdotcom) also gives a discount. it is worth a stamp, and ask to go on the mailing list of the different companies. Also check southern ohio gun.
