1894 Springfield - Need some more information.

I am looking for more information on what looks like a vintage 1894 Springfield Armory #17813. It is in good condition except for someone did a really bad job working on the stock and even added a rubber pad. I would be happy to email you photos. Thank you in advace for the help and have a great Forth of July!

    More then likely the rifle your inquiring about is the American made Krag-Jorgensen Rifle.

    GOOGLE, "KRAG JORGENSEN" or "Krag", read and follow the links etc. there is a lot of information on the net, including collectors forums.
