TC Cntender G2 Barrels fit old Contender

I have read the new conteneder G2 Barrels will fit the old style Contender froame. However, I also recently saw a post that the .45 Cal Muzzlelader barrel will nto fit the old style Contender. I am interested in buyinbg a new G2 .50 cal barrel for my old 95' Contender frame. Will it fit.
