The 30 Remington AR is based loosely on the original .450 Bushmaster case. The 450 Bushmaster is the .284 Winchester shortened and sized to take the 0.452" diameter bullets.
The difference now is the current rim diameter of the 30 RAR has been enlarged to 0.492" from the original 0.473" diameter.
This article has the correct dimensions for the cartridge case:

This has the developmental data but the rim dimensions is incorrect:

This article has information about the 450 Bushmaster:

Brass may be available through Remington as components. You should check their website to confirm or give them a call.
Best.
i have a project barrel for a switch barrel reciever
i'd rather not open the bolt face
thanks..[:)]
You could go back to the original design which used the .284 Winchester cases cut down. These cases used the same rim diameter as the 6mmBR (0.473"). Dies are not affected since there is no impact on the rim.
Best.
with all that i mite as well convert 6br to 30br
thanks for the input
be well[:)]
edit: on another thought you could maybe turn the rim on the 'rar'
Correct!
That would the easiest by far.
Best.
