Remington A-5

I inherited a Remington shotgun from my grandfather when he passed and would like to find out the age and more about the gun. It looks like an A-5 but says Remington on the action. The barrell says Remington but references Browning patents. The serial number doesn't have the format of neither a Browning or Remington. Can you please help? Thanks, Bill V

What you have there is a Remington Model 11. Basically Remingtons copy of the A-5, and almost a direct copy.
Per the BlueBook:

Mfg. 1905-1910.

Add 20% for matted rib.
