Winchester 141 bolt problem

Wondering if anyone could help a fellow gun owner out? Just picked up a Win 141 as of today, cycled it in the store, worked fine, did it a few times. Got it home went to cycle it again and the bolt handle would not go all the way down into its final position to be ready to fire. Any idea what it could be???
Anything would be greatly appreciated

Not trying to steal your thread, but I was given a Winchester 141 bolt action 22LR just last week. If I have the right model, this is the one where the cartridges feed through a tube in the butt stock. The one I have has a broken safety, the bolt won't close completely and the magazine tube doesn't completely seat in the stock. I showed the gun to a gunsmith (he didn't have time to actually work on it), and he thought the safety issue was causing the bolt problem. If I get any additional information or I end up fixing the problem on my own, I'll let you know.
