Anybody able and willing to to some 'smithing' on an h&r (model 949) ?
Im at a loss , cant seem to get it right ???

    Its broke !!!
    other than that , it dont work right ?
    have two (2) different revolvers , the action on both is (are?) not right , hammer / trigger feels very strange , cly.'s not timing right ? I never was much on the 'smithing' on the H&R's but these two have me flustered !!!

    Check the main spring assembly - the head which pushes on the hammer may be broken - pieces jam up the works. Very common problem with all the models made during that time period with nylon pusher heads.

    The spring that activates the hand could be broke as well. Ditto on the nylon tipped mainspring!
