M.S.A. Co. tang sight W1 app.??

Hi guys,
I have an early? Marble's, MSA Co Gladstone,Mich Pat. Oct 20,1903
tang peep sight stamped on bottom W1. It's a little stiff and rusty but would clean-up. Should I? As is,it's in +fair to good cond. What does it go on? and what's
it worth?

    According to Stroebel's book it's for 94 & 55 Winchesters. I wouldn't be cleaning it unless you know what your doing. I've seen to many guns and parts screwed up over the years by overzealous cleaning. These old tang sights are worth good money nowadays, see what you can get out of it in the condition it's in now.
