Belgium double action revolver

My father left me a 6 shot revolver that has no serial number and only the word "Belgium" stamped below the left side of the cylinder. It has two marks, both on the right side in front of the cylinder. The top mark is an "R" with a crown above it and the mark below that is an "A" with a star above it. There is a ring attached to the butt of the grip, I guess to attach a lanyard. It's a double action revolver with the firing pin attached to the hammer. Anyone know anything about this revolver?

Close clear pictures might show something that would identify it but there is just not much to know about these things.
Okay, I took some pictures with my Blackberry and hopefully it will help. I just found the number 23 stamped on a guard that surrounds the swing out ejector rod. Alright I give up. I'm new here and can not figure out how to post pics.
