I recently saw a P7 in .22LR. It had a different model number. There may be some with nickel finishes.

Look here for info http://www.gunfaqs.org/P7FAQ/index.htm
I don't think there are any Stainles P7s. Some were nickled, but there are a lot of aftermarket re-finished P7s. Maybe hard chrome? Not a factory finish, unless it's nickle.
I think this is my 1000th post! YEA!
such of animal exists as "Production" pistol.
Also, nickel can be "Brushed" to appear quite like SS.
If in doubt, use a magnet.
The P7 in 22LR would be Model: P7 K3.
Sweet 22 and makes a great suppressor gun.

Edit in response to the below post by tsavo303:(so I don't use another post spot)
HKPRO is a very good site for info. Another is http://www.parkcitiestactical.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi that has the Cult of the P7 forum, thought by many to be a great source of info and technical data.

maybe it was refinished
They did make a hard chromed one
i bet it was a brushed chromed one i saw at a show
also HKPRO.com is good for info
