some in stock , others 30 day order
Not to be nitpickin' or anything, but 200 rds @ $230 is closer to $1.15 per. 200 @ $270 is about $1.35. Still about the cheapest 500S&W a guy is likely to find. Cabela's shipping isn't as bad as some others.

yea 9:30pm i should have been in bed lol ol calculator is letting me down, thanks for pointing that out,no wonder my math teacher was on my a..[;)][:D]
I've been reloading starline brass with Hodgdon Tight Group and Ranier (midwayusa) 335 grain bullets. Through my 6.5" 500 this combination papers almost identical to the Ultramax 325s.
Good luck with that ammo purchase. Let us know what you find.
The only problem I have with my magnum is now I want another...thanks S&W!

The 330s are the cheapest that Ultramax makes and over time will leave traces of lead in your barrel. Also as these are a slower veloctity round there are certainly not a hunting round, but they do shoot consistently at the range. The 330s are one way to have fun and start collecting reloading brass. I reloaded 100 rounds last night...
The 325s and 330s both shoot about the same pattern at 25 yards.
If you want a hunting rounds check out the carbon ammo...
Have fun
