Beretta Minx - value?

I've been looking for a value range for the Minx. This would be the little Beretta with the tilt-down barrel in .22 short. It's about 95% and has a pocket holster.
The seller is looking for $125, I'm thinking $85-$90...any ideas?
Thanks

I have an older version of the Blue Book of Gun Values by Fjestad and in 95% it said around $115 so $125 is probably not out of the question as it is a Beretta and not some Davis or Lorcin zinc pea shooter[:D]

I agree with Ruger41. I'd expect one NIB to sell in the $200-225 range, so that price in 95% is not unreasonable. Of course, little rimfires sometimes have reliability problems, so being able to test fire it might affect your decision.

You did check for chamber peening, didn't you?

I used to own the double action version in .22LR a looong time ago(divorce forced a sale lol) and that little gun was a kick to shoot. It never failed on me-I always fed it a diet of CCI Stingers. I know a .22 isn't the best defense gun-nor is a .22 short for that matter, but it beats a sharp stick. I carried it in a small IWB holster with a shirt tucked over it when I was working in a bad area of town. Hmmmm maybe I'll have to get another one for old times sake.

I think $125. is a great price if he will go lower all the better , but at 95% it is a great little gun , always works, quality and cheap to shoot. I have two right now and i would snap up a third at that price in a heartbeat. Bob

OK, I just called the guns owner and told him I'd take it. Yeah, I gave him his price and I'm gonna pay him with $1.00 bills.
    Thanks for your input.

The Italian made Minx is worth quite a bit more than the US made "safety" version. These are fine little guns-extremely accurate, if you do your part.
