Hello That is how Hodgdon got their start after WW II sorry but could not resist In telling you when I first started reloading I once picked up six 100 pound drums of 4831 and drove with them in my car 100 miles home one in passenger side front seat 3 in rear seat and two in the trunk That was during a time I normally smoked a pipe [:(] but did not smoke that day[:0][}:)] the price to me was $330.00 yes that is right 55 cents a pound and gas was $.28.9 a gallon[:p] just wanted to make you guys drool.[^]

    heavyiron:
You can also try PatsReloading.com I found them in the back of Shotgun News a few years ago and have made a purchase or two over the years.

Perryshooter's story should remind us all how "comfortable" life used to be. Today My fear in duplicating this feat wouldn't be getting stopped ( I'd cover everything with blankets) it would be getting "nailed" by some idiot (or idiotress) yakking on a cell phone at 80 MPH![8D]

I remember the days that all us high school boys that hunted dove carried our shotguns to school in our trunks because the dove field was located in a cow pasture across the street from school. Some of the teachers even joined us occasionally. As far as I know there was no rule about bringing a gun to school if it stayed in a locked trunk.

No one was ever threatened or shot, the very idea never would have crossed our minds. Any disputes that called for a fist fight were done under the supervision of our PE teacher, Coach Martin. My, my have things have changed. Of course, we ate squirrels back then also.
