Was set up at a gun show this weekend and was offered a New in the box unfired Remington 10C. Had the paperwork and extra magazine. Had the origional price of $47.00 still on the box. Absolutely as it was when it left the factory. I would have been buying it for resale and I have not kept up on the prices of these nylon guns. They wanted 500.00 for it and I offered 300.00. he blue book lists it at 200.00 but you know how that works. I told them to shop it around and they must have sold it and I didn't see them again. What would it bring high end retail?

Not sure if it was a 12C or a 10C. In the header you say 12C in the body of your note you say 10C. Makes a difference. Anyway the old Nylons have a loyal following and the prices have gone up. I have seen standard Nylon 66s in great shape selling for 300+ and the Nylon 66 with the black stock and chrome selling for more. Also the Nylon 12 and other rarer Nylons seem to demand even higher prices...and new in the original box...well you get the picture. So I think the $500 wasn't totally out of line but again if you are going to resell I would say that would be about tops...unless you were going to hold it a few years. There is a Nylon forum on line if you want to talk to the real people in the know.

Fair price if it was truly UNFIRED in the box with all of the paperwork, hang tags ,etc. The book you used did not reflect the market values in 2008.. The Standard cataloge of firearms was updated in 2007 to reflect market values based on completed internet auction SELLING prices... To bad you didn't get it...
