Atlantic Firearms sell an AK made by Lancaster Consulting, which offers a lifetime factory warranty. I've Googled Lancaster, but can't find much.
Does anyone here have one of their rifles? Opinions?? thanks in advance !! [:D]

Google is anti-gun. I don't know when the firearms community is going to get that through their heads. Stop using it!

You're welcome!
It is not a reputation, it is fact. It is stated in their rules and regulations about the types of advertising that they accept.

Nononsense, Atlantic Consulting is the manufacturer. The dealer Rangerdavid is considering is Atlantic Firearms, 10337 Bunting Rd, Bishopville, MD 21813, phone 410-352-5183. This is the location of a 55 acre farm owned by Blaine Bunting; the phone number is either a cell number or unlisted. This may be a fine, home-based business, but I would want to know a little more about them before mailing off a check.
Lots of talk about Lancaster AK's on AR15.com. Seems that they are ok. Some have had problems with their AK's but have had great service from Lancaster and Atlantic.
For about the same cost, check out Vector Arms.

In the first place it's not a dealership, it's a factory, a manufacturing facility. It's located in a town of 56,000 folks located on the edge of the Phoenix/Goodyear Municipal Airport which is about 15 miles west of Phoenix. I've been in the plant. I think that's considered to be first-hand knowledge.

Lancaster is the manufacturer.
Atlantic is the dealer.
He asked about the manufacturer not the dealer.

Even if he was asking about the dealer, it's no different than all of the kitchen table dealers that are on here or the Auction side. Business seems to go on as usual. It's an official listing by the Corporation/Manufacturer.
I happen to know a farmer up in Canada that is also one of the best bullet makers I've had the pleasure of doing business with. He's real hard to get a hold of sometimes when he's in the fields doing what farmers do or out hunting. But I always get a return call or e-mail. His business is growing on a daily basis. So I guess it's not all bad living in or near a corn field...

If you are planning on building an AK, make sure you get the correct thickness to go with the kit you're building. For instance, a 1.6 thickness receiver will not work with a Romanian kit. You would need to shave down the trunions to get them to fit in the receiver.
A final note, If you have tools and are just a little bit handy you may want to look into building your own AK. I've built 4 for myself so far and helped other build 6 more. They are pretty easy to do.
Here's a couple websites with step by step build instruction:

The 1st post has you tube video instructions of AK building:
