THIS IS THE TYPE OF MOUNT YOU NEED TO AVOID DRILLING AND TAPING THE REAR BRIDGE... UNFORUNETLY THEY HAVEN'T BEEN MADE SINCE THE EARLY 1960'S LYMAN.jpg

The mount pictured is a Bausch & Lomb "Custom" mount with external adjustments, indeed out of production for a long time, also manufactured by Kuharsky Brothers, who made many B&L type mounts, some I think for Bausch & Lomb, and alos out of business. Check with: www.hegibbs.com who seems to specialize in older B&L mounts, has a significant inventory, and ships quickly and reliably. I obtained a mount from him a little while back that I had been looking for for many years.

Thanks for all the good info. You know, I remember seeing those old Bausch and Lomb mounts on an old friends rifle about 40 years ago, and didn't really put two and two together until I saw the picture you sent. Think I will start looking in that direction, as I dont't think the stilth mounts will work with this .375.
