Can you help??
I tried to post a photo following the instructions provided in Nononsense's Sticky and using Hunting 101.Com as a host but when I preview the item I only get a Red "X" and no photo. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

CAn't help you with that one, but Photobucket is a breeze to load pics onto, and then post here. Just C&P the bottom line, and you are done.

Good advice. Also, use the "preview" feature before you release the photos to this forum. If the photo's are large, stack the photos vertically, which is prefered. Hit the enter key after each [/img] symbol.

What you will be accomplishing is keeping your photos from running off the right of the page. More difficult to view. Best, Joe

    Marner,

I just ran through the Hunt 101 process again. They have changed the software that they utilize to serve and store our images. I ran through the whole thing and wrote a list for you. Here is a practice image:

    HeymUSA_6.jpg

    Here is a process list:

    Select 'Upload Photos'
    Scroll to 'My Documents' select
Select 'My Pictures' from the list
Double click the photo you want uploaded
    Select 'Upload/Submit' button
Select a gallery or select the 'Process' button (I just use Process)
Double Click the thumbnail that shows up
Select Icon at right of URL line
Select and Copy the 'Direct' URL (bottom line)
Go back to the message frame on Gunbroker Forums
    Select the 34538icon_editor_image.gif
Paste the URL between the (img)picture url(/img)
    Preview

Now this sounds like a lot but it takes me about 30 seconds to get an image onto the forums using this process. If this one is too much effort, try Image Cave as another source.

    Best.
