Looking for a quality gunsmith

I have a .30-06 hunting rifle that was reported to have been built by one of the smiths at Savage Arms as a prototype. It has a Tikka action, Bofors barrel and a Weatherby stock. It looks great and shoots very well, but has an annoying problem. It has a hand made detachable box magazine that appears to be fine and seems to snap into place firmly, but wants to fall away from the action when the rifle is fired. My favorite gunsmith retired recently and the problem is beyond my mediocre skills.

Be aware that Randy is always busy and you may have to wait to get your project fixed. He may have a better recommendation.
Best.
Thanks loads. Just the info I need.
