I have a question (I am allowed to ask questions here and not just answer them [;)]): Does the ban on the sale, possession and the shipping into Washington State of MG parts also include machine gun magazines such as surplus AK-47 magazines, M16 magazines and other MG mags that are not commercial (say for a single column feed AK sporter) but strictly military surplus?

NO just the trigger and other action parts (m-16 instead of AR) Barrels, sights, mags are all OK.

Nope, you are good to go. The ban is on parts that can ONLY be used in SBS/SBR/MG. IF there is a legal use for the part in WA then the parts are legal.

I appreciate the fast response. The items in question were surplus East German AK-74 magazines from the 1980s. I was 99% sure that these would not be considered MG parts and of course the buyer in Spokane "assured" me that they were not. What info I could quickly find about the MG parts situation in Washington State was a bit ambiguous so rather than waste more effort searching, it was time to head to the GB Ask The Experts Forum for the real info.
