I inherited a cosmi 12 gauge shotgun in great condition, I was wondering what the value of it was.

They have numerous shotgun appraisal experts who might be able to help.
3 to 5 grand.
sell it. it kicks harder than a mule and is WAY overated. stocks crack. loading jams are common and you have to have an engineering degree to figure out the loading sequence without screwing up the bolt positioning. i sold both of mine and was glad i did.

Hello, i apologize for my late answer, but i could't reach this website before. Whatever you decide to do with your Cosmi shotgun, here there are some tips for it's perfect functioning:
- check the recoil spring (the long one under the barrel), the recoil spring must be changed after long usage and must match the weight of the shells u shoot (under 28grams use the light spring, 32 to 36 grams use the medium spring, up to magnum cartridges use the strong spring). It takes about 3 minutes to change a spring. In this way the recoil will be correctly muffled and the shotgun will not kick hard. If u don't have any extra recoil spring, contact us and we will provide to send you the one you need;
- don't forget to clean the shotgun to make the action work correctly;
- use only engine car oil (AGIP SINT 2000 or similars) to clean the shotgun, NEVER guns oil;
- for any other information contact us: Cosmi Americo e figlio snc, via Flaminia 307, 60126 Ancona - Italy, phone 0039 071 888208, email cosmi@cosmi.net ; tell us the serial number of your shotgun and we will send you the manual for free.
Thank you for your attention.
