Has anyone had any experince with a thompson look a like that was made by volunteer enterprises in knoxville tenn. It's called the commando mark 9 and shoots 9mm, and takes a 30 round stick mag. Are they any good, how do they shoot and function? What is the going price in very good condition. Does anyone have a original owners manual they want to sell and or original box?

    Hi,

I had one in 9mm. I never fired it. I fired several .45 ACP versions. Its ok. It takes STEN mags. Accuracy was very good. Replacement parts of very hard to come by. Its fairly easy to disassemble. The design was from the MAC-6 by Gordon Ingram.

Value? Anywhere from $250-450 depending upon condition. Were you looking to sell it?

Just wondered if you got any info on your Volunteer Enterprises Firearm. I aquired a Commando MarkII that shoots 45acp in a 30 round stick clip. I can't seem to find anything else except what is written in the Blue Book. I have that. I would like something about the gun? were you successful and if so can you lead me in the right direction?
    Thanks,
    Mark
