Firestorm .22LR What do ya think??

I'm thinking of buying a Firestorm .22LR to carry when fishing and out poking around in the woods. This gun should fit many of my holsters that I carry other (more expensive) guns in and would not cost alot to shoot or replace if damaged beyond repair.(I kayak and play hard in general)

Has anyone had any experience with these guns...good or bad...I'd like to hear about it.

Thanks,
Shane

    Get the 380, 9mm, or 45acp Firestorm. 22lr just doesn't have enough.

Do they come in stainless? The ones I've seen are blued- kinda a pain when you do water sports.

I already own a Glock 30 that I carry at work everyday, and a Walther PPKS & Kahr CW9, along with many target handguns but after my wife shot a snake in her flowerbed last summer with my North American Arms .22mag That I always carried when out farting around she laid claim to it and I haven't seen it anymore.

My first reaction was to buy a new NAA but I've seen this Firestorm many times and think sence I always keep my gun in a dry bag hooked inside my kayak anyway I may try the little .22 auto. Another reason I'm looking at buying one is because we have never stocked any Firestorms at the shop and this would be an experiment for future sales (or not)

Anyone out there own one or has anyone shot one???

The firestorm .22 is really the same gun as the Bersa and Firestorm .380's, but with a 22lr upper. I count the Bersa and Firestorm 380's as maybe the best all round 380 for any ammount of money, and really enjoy shooting them in .22 when I get a chance. These are great 22's and I highly recomend them.

The Firestorm 22 is a nice little 22 just a little touchy and I think it's the clip and just a little break end.

I just bought a Bersa .22 and have only taken it to the range once.

It was easy to shoot reasonably accurately (up to ~20 yards which is about what my eyes are good for), with no misfeeds using a mix of CCI MiniMags and Velocitors. I think it is going to be a great trail companion.

Finding a spare magazine was an adventure in web-surfing (probably not absolutely necessary, but one of my own quirks).
