Replacement Magazines

Is there a source of affordable funcitonal magazines out there to be had? Seems at the gun show most single stage .45 ACP mags were near forty bucks. Used to be I had cash to toss around but not much these days. Friends call me a Cheap B******* and a tightwad, but hey they are not heirlooms, I am going to shoot with them and they will get dropped...:)

    Wilson Combat makes great mags, but if your looking for value, Check out Mec-gar. Great mags, decent price. I think i paid 12 bucks for an 8 round mag.

    Go to the Gunbroker auctions page. Select Smart Search. Select Search By Seller Name. Type in pistolpac. Pick any open auction. Select Ask Seller A Question. Ask pistolpac about 1911 magazines. I know he has several in the shop and they are nowhere near $40 each.

    The Chip McCormic mags are very good, and most likley in your price range
