Something Special about This Beretta Barrel?

I was looking at this auction for a Beretta 70 (22lr) barrel and see that the price has gone to a level which looks crazy. Is there something special about this one?

    Well, I guess it must be worth that much because that's what someone was willing to pay. I checked out Numrich Arms and they show about 3 parts (no barrel) for sale for the Beretta 70, so it would seem this is a gun for which parts are hard to find, at least in 22 caliber. The 32 & 380 Model 70 barrels cost about $35.00.
