Instructions for Scope Install

Anyone have any instructions for installation of a scope on an AK47? Non-milled receiver.. or is this something I should take to a gunsmith?

    The standard commie AK scope mount is a side mount job that has a block riveted to the left side of the receiver. I'd go that route as the top cover is not a secure platform to mount a scope on. If you are at all handy with tools you should be able to it yourself. Just get all the instructions and parts together before you start drilling anything.

    yes, the side mount bracket is what I'm talking about. the top mount scope that mounts on the front handguard puts to scope too far away for my liking..
