Hello all,
This is my first post and second reason for registering on gun broker.
I welcome any and all information anyone would share about the Star model 110 22 rifle. I have one and it seems to be quite a mystery gun as far as any detailed information about production and dates. I have so far not been able to find anyone or any book with info about this model gun. All I know is that they were made by Star and imported at some point by GPC and sold from 1993 to 1999.

Star has been out of business for years now. I remember in the mid to late 90's time frame, when they were going down the tubes, lot of the local gun emporiums were blowing out their guns at fire sale prices. Chances are your rifle was part of that, i.e they were just dumping everything they had in their warehouses, before they went belly up.
I have tried that already and no luck. The gun is stamp W Hurly NY GPC and I figure if Gun Parts Corp imported and sold these guns they should have some history to share. If they don't then there is really no reason for me to expect any other source to have any info. I have put in a few inquiries with GPC and am keeping my fingers crossed. The really hard question for me is if these guns are so few and unique how much is it worth? The gun is really well made. I would compare the quality and design of this gun to a CZ 511. I have one source that has told me that GPC only sold 510 of these guns between 1993 and 1999. To me that means this gun should be a collector.
In my experience value is based on demand not rarity , i.e. two or more folks competing to buy what your selling.
You could be selling the crown jewels of England for all that matters, if no body wants them they would be worthless.
At this point in time i'm not aware of any collector demand for Star semi-auto .22's. Maybe a number of years down the road, not now though. As far as most folks would be concerned, it would just be orphan .22 plinker with parts and magazines, hard to come by. My 2?.
