Anyone out there have thoughts or recomendations for me? I just buoght a Leopold prismatic tactical 1x for it and dont like the limitation of mid range ( or lack of) capability.Im thinking of going with a trijicon acog with with a red dot mounted off to the side or up top, or maybe an eotech with a 3 or 4x magnification flip out to the side. any thoughts or recomendations would be appreciated.

The acog generally has a short eye relief, 1.5" or so. The 3.5x35 TA11 would be my suggestion out of all the Acogs because it has a 2.5" eye relief, but they are all set up to work on AR platforms, where not specifically specified to a weapones platform.

I like just a regular scope, such as the ones linked, they have ample 3.25-3.50" eye relief, which is good when shooting a bullpup....

with one of these scopes add an offset red dot like a trijicon RMR or aimpoint H-1 if you think it is needed. Or even a high quality green laser.. or all three.. Also a good bright light on the side rail mounting platform.

The STG-556 is a great gun, I love mine.

I put a TA01 Trijicon on mine for a while, and it worked great. Currently have the factory optic on it however. Might go back to an ACOG though.
