mfg date for Remington 14

I have a Remington model 14 that was made proir to 1921. I know it was made in either 1919 or 1920 because the safety is on the bolt and those were the only two years with that feature. Does anybody know how to tell exactly which year it was made?

    Please tell me I didn't stump you guys. I'll provide the sn if necessary. Just didn't want to go dig it up out of the safe. I've checked with remington and any other resources I could find and they all agree that if it was made before 1921 there is no record of exactly when it was made. But I figured that surely that one of you guys would know something they didn't.
