Did the Russans use scopes on the Mosin-Nagant that were detachable during WWII like the Germans K98?

Yes, both the PE and PU scopes on the Mosins had a detachable mount.

See the slotted thumb screw in the 2nd pic down? Back that out and the scope/mount detach from the rail.
