IO STG-2000-C in banned states?

I am very interested in the Inter Ordnance STG-2000-C and it appears that the manufacturer is getting a lot more attention due to the Guns and Ammo feature.

However, is the gun allowed to be purchased in CT? Does something set this apart as an AK "style" rifle as opposed to an actual AK that may allow them to sell it to me?

My FLL has no idea and just started to look into it for me but I thought I would check here first.

These are Romanian AKs with different furniture on them. If the Romanian Semi Auto AK is banned in your state, then so are these. Treat them just as if they were a High Cap WASR, since that is essentially what they are with different stocks and hand guards to simulate the look of the ol Wieger STG from E. Germany.

I'm going to see my FFL soon and I'll quiz him as to what he thinks.
