Hello, I have one of the above guns as part of my Fathers Estate. I can't tell which one it is. The Barrel length is 3 1/4" and on the top of the barrel I can make out only" SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A. PAT'D JAN. 17&24,65 AUG ???? MAY 11 ???? 1880" on the second line. I can only find one other marking and it is on the cylinder and is "77516". Any help would be much appreciated. I am going to attempt to attach pictures but if they are not what is needed or don't work I can e-mail them if anyone wants to see.
