Marlin 30-G 20ga shotgun ???

I've come across an old Marlin shotgun, Model 30-G 20ga. It looks like an 1898, but I can't find it in the price guide books. It has a serial # 5xxx and is in good to very good condition. Any info on age or value would be appreciated. Thad Wulf
