Which scope base/mount has circle R?

I bought a Remington 700 today with a Redfield Scope. The base and rings are very nice and marked only with a "R" in a circle? Are these Redfields? The base is one piece like Leupold's with the rear that adjusts for windage, and the ring screws come in from the bottom giving the rings a smooth contoured look. Thanks for your help.

I actually prefer the Redfield and Burris bases over the Leupolds. Looks are part of it, function is also part of the choice as well.

That particular twist in dovetail design was all redfield. The other makers copied it. It is one of the strongest still today.
