ar piston conversions

has anyone used the ar piston conversion kits such as bushmaster is making?are piston uppers as accurate/or just more reliable,and do the kits replicate the original whole system thats now offered?

    Ares now has a gas piston conversion retrofit you can put on a conventional stoner gas impingement system. Looks to be the ticket as far as I am concerend. Buy a good used AR and slap it on. Better reliability is the key really. The AR is naturally accurate due to the close tolerances, which was part of the problem with the original gas system.
