is this some kind of joke, or fraud?

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=167601671

1.$200, the trijicon is not that cheap
2. TA31RCO-A4 model is Not a crosshair. It's Red Dual Illuminated Reticle ONLY. (but on the picture, its show crosshair)
3. The acog picture is real, but it look like he took it from other seller, or other website. No prove of real picture
4. NR user, no feedback

I want to buy the trijicon but im not sure if this is safe to buy.
Im also new to gunbroker too, so please give me some advice.

Looks like the cheap chinese junk!! That scope has an average price of $1000 to $1200. There is no way that it is a Trijicon.

why didn't him put replica or clone, he took the real trijcon acog picture, and the description copy exactly from the other seller that selling Real trijicon.

    Caveat Emptor

When the deal looks to good to be true, it usually is.

It's a Chinese knock off. I looked at one at the last gun show. They were abot $125 there.
Pass on it and save your money for better optics [;)]

I don't know the story, but it seems clear something fishy is going on.

Nobody sells a $1000+ scope for $200. Can't happen. Wholesale cost on them is more than that. Even a stolen one should cost more than that! If this were a "real" scope, the auction wouldn't top out at a max $200 buy-it-now.

Whatever the image or ad copy implies, this is probably a low-end Chinese-made fake. There are plenty of them out there, and they're not particularly durable.

For what its worth, this seller has sold one other item (and received positive feedback on the sale), interestingly on some sort of Eotech sight clone:

    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=166504226

Again, REAL Eotechs retail at $650, and this guy has a number of other ones currently listed at $125. About the **ONLY** way that's possible is if they're fakes.

You might simply email the seller and ask him what's going on. I did this one time with a fishy item, asking the seller point blank "is this a real factory item or cheap fake" and got back an email that said, in effect "cheap fake".

Note that I don't have any problem with low-end scopes that LOOK like high-end scopes. So long as they work as a simple cheap dot or reflex sight, those could be cool on .22 caliber AR-15 builds, or airsoft guns, etc. The problem is when you have a fake that is sold as a real scope, since that's outright fraud, and this looks pretty suspicious for that.

    Edit:

AND I got $1 that says that this "Eotech" is actually THIS clone, which retails at about $150, and is designed to mimic both the look and operation of a real one:

    http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/ProductDetail?prodID=23383

Again, I'd never put something like that on a real combat gun, but as a training tool for a .22 AR-15, looks like a cool item.

    Fugazi

The white writing on the side does not match the actual Trijicon. I am guessing this is an airsoft replica.

This auction straddles the line of fraud by strongly suggesting it is real. If you didn't know it was impossible, you would never guess it wan't authentic

I saw that ad last night and it pi**ed me off... I can't stand it when someone is obviously selling a clone but never state it... or make it extremely difficult to figure out if it is aside from the price being way low...[:(!]

This string has included the Eotech type sights. Please take a look at the link below. It is a brief tutorial on how to spot clones/counterfeits. Best, Joe
