Colt Agent - pachmyr grips? Blued?

Found one of these at the local pawn shop. Appears to be blued & has pachmyr grips like this one:

Are those grips standard equipment or aftermarket?
Were any of these guns blued?

There was no price on the gun and I doubt there was a box.
I was planning to offer $375 to $425.

What say you?

Edited to add: I would guess 98% but no box. My BB of gun values is from 2005.

I wouldn't offer more than $350. I have a newer Blue Book and the Agent 2nd Issue which is what it should be came with a alloy frame & matte finish from 1982 on and they were made from '73-'86--does not say what grips but I would bet wood. 100% is $500 95% is $350--since the gun has neither box nor original grips you MIGHT even pick it up for $325 +/- If you do buy it I would not put a ton of +p ammo through it-stick to standard pressure loads.

Go back and give it a good going over. Wood grips are standard on those. I would start lower since the guy selling it probably paid very little for it.

I went back and found he wants $500, he had a list of what looked to be what he had in it, that I got a glimps at, showed $400. $100 bucks to him is fair but $500 was way too much.

I contered with $450 but no go.

he will be hanging on to that colt for a while-that is way overpriced--and as a pawn shop I'd be suprised if he REALLY paid $400 for it--more like $150 to $200 tops.

A few months ago, I bought a nice one from my gunsmith for $250.

Pachy grips, also. And I got two boxes of ammo and a hard case.

Good luck - from my experience, I'd say he is WAY overpriced.
